ncmn-committeesWhen you join the Nonprofit Communications and Media Network (NCM Network), you can participate in a variety of committees. If you’re interested in serving as a Committee Chair or on the NCM Network Board of Directors, please complete this form and return via email to membership@ncmnetwork.org. PROGRAMS COMMITTEE
NCM Network’s Programs Committee creates informative programs, workshops, media mixers, seminars, and events with partner organizations to provide nonprofit professionals in Southern California with the access, tools, and contacts to succeed.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
NCM Network’s Membership Committee is responsible for managing the membership database, renewals, and promoting the organization throughout Southern California to attract new members. Membership is open to news, public service and public affairs media professionals, nonprofit organizations and employees, government agencies, and communications firms and individuals.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
NCM Network’s Communications Committee is responsible for all organizational communications including event promotions, website design and maintenance, collateral, email communications, and social media.

BOARD DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
NCM Network’s Board Development Committee focuses on three aspects of Board development: identifying and vetting potential Board members and presenting them to the entire Board for approval, developing Board Member responsibilities, and creating an evolving Board member onboarding process.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
NCM Network’s Lisa Davidson Memorial Scholarship Committee oversees the organization’s scholarship program, which recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate excellent potential for improving the lives of the Southern California community through a communications career. Committee members help promote the scholarship to local educational institutions, review applications, and determine recipients.
