Every summer, the Nonprofit Communications and Media Network (NCM Network) hosts its Annual Media Mixer so that members and guests can meet the media and media can hear about potential news ideas. EVENT HASHTAG: #NCMNmedia
This annual event supports NCM Network’s Ruth Collander Endowment Fund, which provides scholarships to communications and journalism students attending Southern California colleges and universities.
If you’ve attended a previous Media Mixer, you know what a great networking opportunity it is. If you haven’t joined us for a Mixer before, you’re in for a treat. Bring LOTS of business cards.
The Media Mixer is an informal cocktail party and a chance for public relations, communications, marketing, and fundraising professionals with nonprofit organizations to speak with media representatives and enjoy some light refreshments. (For a blog post on last year’s mixer, please click here.)
Attendees will also receive a Media Mixer Swag Bag filled with items from nonprofit organizations and media. Here’s your chance to get face time with media representatives and on-air talent who can help tell your organization’s story. Don’t miss it!
