April 18 program: Emotionally Connecting with your Audiences for Greater Impact

analytics-2697949_1920Is how you’re presenting your organization just like everyone else? It’s time to break out and stop just doing things the way you’ve been doing them.
We live in a world where we’re bombarded by content and wonder how to best manage the incoming and the outgoing. If the big companies and organizations are hogging the spotlight, how do you break through, get noticed and make an impact?
It all comes down to emotionally connecting with your audiences. You may think telling stories about your clients is getting at that. But if that’s what everyone is doing, then is anyone really connecting?
Join us to learn the skills needed to run successful email and social media campaigns, and coordinating all communications to promote your nonprofit’s mission and services. In this working session, we’ll look at issues and examples across a variety of industries, present some core ideas and best practices, then get into how to apply them to your organization.

WHEN YOU REGISTER:
For maximum impact, please send a sample email blast, e-newsletter, and/or link to a recent social media post or your website to Genevieve@wsfb.org when you register. We will use actual examples from workshop participants to show how communications can be adjusted for better emotional impact.
